Q: What do you believe is the most important issue facing Vermont? A: Transparency: Results Based Accountability (making budgets and programs prove they provide high-quality, effective services)
Q: Is there an issue not covered that you want us to look into? A: Finding ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency of AHS, AOE especially in dealing with the costs of poverty by developing a comprehensive system of wrap-around services instead of the clumsy, wasteful morass we have now. We can’t cut Education and Human Services, so we have to make them more effective and efficient, which means they have to work in collaboration with public, non-profit, and private organizations.
