Friends,

Much has changed since our last email; Vermonters have selected their candidates to face off in the November election, the EB-5 Scandal continues to develop in the Northeast Kingdom, and big changes are underway at Campaign for Vermont.

Today we are announcing the addition of Ben Kinsley as the new Executive Director. Ben has previously served in several positions at Campaign for Vermont and we are glad to have him leading the transition into our next critical phase.

Pam Mackenzie has agreed to join the board of directors as Founding Officer Tom Pelham departs. We thank Tom for all the hard work and dedication he has given to CFV as our foremost policy expert. He will be missed! Yet, we excitedly welcome Pam and look forward to her experience and insight as we move forward.

We are excited about these changes as we look to re-invigorate the discussion around issues that matter to Vermonters. Property taxes continue to rise, Health Care reform continues to stall, the state budget is out of control, and ethics reform is needed now more than ever.
