School Choice Week is a national movement with over 21,000 events across all 50 states. School Choice systems look very different from state to state, but Vermont's has existed for 150 years and is a proud tradition offering educational opportunities to many of Vermont's most rural and disadvantaged students.
We invite you to learn more about Vermont's school choice system and join us for the 2018 National School Choice week celebration January 24th at the State House in Montpelier.
A free lunch will be provided at the Capital Plaza along with opportunities to hear from Vermont students, teachers, and activists about the incredible educational opportunities available to students at Vermont independent schools and the challenges choice towns are facing. Prizes will be awarded for Vermont’s most innovative school, innovative educator, innovative student, and innovative parent. These awards build on last year’s Mannequin Challenge competition that highlighted the uniqueness of each school and student body.
